PURPOSE:To reduce noise in a speed change gear with a main gear train provided at a main shaft and with a counter gear train provided at a counter shaft by providing a friction gear between a counter primary reduction gear and a speed change gear case, and a friction seal between a main highest speed gear and the speed change gear case. CONSTITUTION:A friction gear 54 is provided between a speed change gear case 8 and the counter primary reduction gear 52 of a counter gear train 50 provided at the input side part of a counter shaft 18. A friction seal 56 is disposed between the speed change gear case 8 and a main fifth speed gear 40 provided at the output side end part of a main shaft 16. With this constitution, the backlash of the counter primary reduction gear 52 is prevented by the friction gear 54, and the main fifth speed gear 40 is provided with rotational resistance by the friction seal 56, so that jar noise and rattling noise can be reduced. |
