PURPOSE:To provide a laser beam machining robot having high machining accuracy and long service life by reducing the damages on the arm part of a robot. CONSTITUTION:By forming, at least, the outer surface of the arm 18 of the laser beam machining robot with a high melting point material 21 such as ceramic material, the damages such as melting or deformation on the outer surface of the arm of the robot caused by erroneous irradiation of the laser beam and the sticking of a molten metal are reduced. |
