<p>PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of the serial communication and to simplify the constitution of the transmission side. CONSTITUTION:When the end of transmission is instructed with a data line set at a high or low level after transmission of the serial data, a counter 6 counts the input serial clocks at the reception side. Then a transmission end bit detecting circuit 5 detects the end of transmission. Based on these count output and detection output, a clock error detecting circuit 7 detects a clock error. Thus the reliability of the serial communication is improved. Furthermore the end of transmission can be instructed asynchronously with the serial clock so that the constitution is simplified at the transmission side.</p> |
