PURPOSE:To provide a structure of the sprue which is used at the time of casting by using a lost foam pattern to be sublimated and decomposed by molten metal and smoothly discharges a large amt. of the gases instantaneously generated in an initial stage. CONSTITUTION:This sprue structure is composed of a funnel-shaped body 11, a juncture 15 disposed to freeze a runner on the narrower side of this body 11 and a partition plate 12 for dividing the inner side of the body to a plurality. An inflow path 13 for admitting the molten metal and a discharge path 14 for discharging most of the gases generated from the expandable material to be sublimated and decomposed in the initial stage of pouring are formed of this partition plate 12. As a result, the blowholes of the products are suppressed. |
