<p>PURPOSE:To estimate hardening temperature with high accuracy and to improve the accuracy of hardening temperature control by utilizing the color of a heated work surface. CONSTITUTION:A work 1 set in a state red-heated to hardening temperature is image-picked up by a CCD camera 10, and a work image 1' is blocked into a large number of picture elements, and the degree of each picture element can be decided by three elements of green, red, and brightness. The normal/ defective condition of heating can be decided depending on whether or not the degree is within a reference range set in advance. Thereby, it is possible to detect temperature with non-contact with the work 1 and to estimate the temperature with high accuracy and to estimate the temperature of every part extending over all areas and to check temperature non-uniformity, which enables the hardening temperature management to be performed with high accuracy.</p> |
