A linear evaporator for manufacturing a thin film of OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diodes) is provided to form a uniform deposition layer by differentiating height of depositions of a deposition material from the center to an edge of a substrate. A linear evaporator for manufacturing a thin film of OLED includes a crucible(110), caps(140a,140b,140c), and a heating unit. The crucible has a rectangular shape, contains a deposition material, and includes openings for passing and evaporating the deposition material. Length of gaps between openings is controlled. The caps have cylindrical shapes, are inserted in and coupled to the opening respectively, and have through holes for passing the evaporated deposition material. The heating unit heats the crucible for evaporating the deposition material. |
