<p>PURPOSE: To guarantee the interlace structure of an image even when there is any image, for which encoding processing is omitted, at the time of encoding. CONSTITUTION: Since a skipped picture exists in an input image, decoding processing is executed in the order shown in the figure. Since Pe3, Po6 and Po8 do not complete the input of an input bit stream even at time T4, T7 and T9 to output regenerative image data, regenerative images Po2, Pe5 and Po6 outputted just before are outputted. When the same field parity continues, concerning display processing, phase shifted regenerative image data are outputted as image outputs based on a control signal so as to convert that parity to any different field parity. Thus, even when the skipped picture exists, the interlace structure does not break down.</p> |
