PURPOSE: To eliminate a machine for molding a sheet material of the width necessary for a large-sized molded form and to mold a low-cost sheet material which is easily obtained by orienting a plastic sheet material in a heating state, and then continuously executing plastic molding. CONSTITUTION: In the case of molding, a sheet material 1 is first suitably supplied and disposed, two opposed sides of the lateral direction are nipped by the nipping mechanism 8 of an orienting mechanism 7, and the two adjacent opposed sides of the longitudinal direction are nipped by a drawing mechanism 9. Then, the material 1 is drawn by the mechanism 9 while heating it by a heating mechanism 2, and oriented. Subsequently, the two opposed sides of the material 1 are sandwiched by a clamping mechanism, a mold 2 is raised, and brought into contact with the material 1. Thereafter, the pneumatic box 5 of a press bonding mechanism 4 is moved down to be brought into close contact with the material 1. Compressed air is supplied to the box 5 from a compressed air supplying mechanism 6 to press bond the material 1 to the mold 2. |
