PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite writing instrument capable of feeding an eraser by projecting and retracting a writing element selected from among plural writing elements including a mechanical pencil, by forward movement of a slider. SOLUTION: If a slider 9a is advanced, the notch 23a of an engagement bar 24 is engaged with the notch of a slider and consequently, the tip part of a writing element 14 as a mechanical pencil is protruded from a forward shaft 3. If a rear shaft 4 is axially shifted, the slider 9a is interlocked by the engagement bar 24 and a chuck is axially shifted with a joint 14a to feed a lead. If a slider 9b is moved forward, the slider 9a is disengaged from the engagement bar 24, and the writing element 14 as a mechanical pencil is plunged into a forward shaft. Instead, the slider 9b is engaged with the engagement bar 24 to protrude a writing element 15 such as a ball-point pen from the tip aperture. |
