PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material reducing the abrasion of a thermal head and head refuse and excellent in recording sensitivity. SOLUTION: In a thermal recording material wherein a thermal recording layer containing a leuco dye, a coupler and an adhesive is provided on a support, as the adhesive, a graft copolymer of polyvinyl alcohol and an (acrylamide/ acrylonitrile/vinyl pyrrolidone) copolymer is used and aluminum hydroxide is added to the thermal recording layer in an amt. of 5-25% by wt. of the total solid of the thermal recording layer. |
