An ophthalmic apparatus capable of obtaining various kinds of ocular information on an examinee's eye by itself without contacting the eye. The ophthalmic apparatus has a first projection optical system which makes first light with short coherence length converge at a fundus of the eye, a second projection optical system which makes second light with short coherence length converge at an anterior segment of the eye, a photo-receiving optical system which synthesizes the first light reflected from the fundus and the second light reflected from the anterior segment into interference light, disperses the interference light into frequency components and photo-receives the dispersed light with a first photodetector, and a calculation part which obtains depth information of the eye as ocular information based on a result obtained by analyzing an output signal from the first photodetector by means of Fourier transform.
