PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treating device which attains space-saving and unnecessitates a rotating-driving appliance. SOLUTION: The garbage treating device is provided with a crushing means 4 for crushing garbage, a transverse cylinder type decomposition tank 8 of a transverse cylinder shape inside of which is filled with a filtering medium 11 on which microorganisms are imbedded and which has a lot of small pores (not illustrated) in an outer peripheral part and a rotating-driving means 21 for rotating the transverse cylinder type decomposition tank 8. The transverse cylinder type decomposition tank 8 is divided into at least two parts by partition plates 9 in a vertical direction, water baths 16-a, 16-b, 16-c are provided therebelow corresponding to division number of the transverse cylinder type decomposition tank 8, a circulation pump for sending treated water in the water baths 16-a, 16-b, 16-c to the transverse cylinder type decomposition tank 8 (8-a, 8-b, 8-c) is provided and different microorganism groups are used to decompose the garbage in respective divided decomposition baths 16-a, 16-b, 16-c. |
