PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely through-polish a pipe material to be polished, by constantly and uniformly applying on polishing pressure to a polishing roller and the pipe material without the sway of the pipe material. SOLUTION: This polishing device is composed of: a polishing roller 1 having a roller grinding wheel surface, an hourglass-shaped rotation control roller 2 juxtaposed by crossing an axis 2a in double level at an interval to the axis 1a of the roller 1, a supporting blade 5 arranged along the roller 1 between both the rollers 1 and 2 for nipping a deformed pipe material 4 to be ground with odd number grooves 3 between both the rollers 1 and 2 in order to support the pipe material 4 from the lower side at a fixed position, and a sway preventive blade 6 arranged in near to the roller 2 on the upper side of the material 4, so as to prevent the concurrent abutting between the roller supporting surface 2b of the roller 2, and the pipe abutting surface 6a of a tip part to the separate odd grooves 3a and 3b of the material 4.
