The invention relates to a method of managing fonts in a radio communication terminal (10) which can receive fonts in order to render contents on a screen. According to the invention, one such method involves the use of the following elements in the terminal (10), namely: a font database (14) which lists all of the fonts or font portions stored by the terminal (10) and which matches at least one management parameter with each of the fonts; and a set of font management commands, which is transmitted in a multimedia data flow.
