An 1:1 roping-type machine room-less elevator apparatus, where dimensions of an up/down passage is kept minimum, an upper space of the up/down passage is reduced, noise of a hoist is not increased, and the structure of the elevator apparatus is made simple. A 1:1 roping-type machine room-less elevator apparatus has a hoist that is provided in the lower part of the up/down passage and positioned in a gap between a wall face of the up/down passage and one side in a width direction of the cage, and a first and a second rope tie-up portion provided respectively at the lower parts of both sides in the width direction of the cage so as to be point-symmetrical about the gravity center of the cage. Half the number of hoisting ropes wound around a sheave of the hoist are led up from the sheave and reeved on a first cage-side turning sheave that is in the upper part of the up/down passage and provided above the sheave of the hoist. The ropes are then led down and connected to the first rope tie-up portion. The remaining hoisting ropes are led up from the sheave of the hoist and reeved on a second cage-side turning sheave that is in the upper part of the up/down passage and provided above the sheave of the hoist, reeved on a third cage-side turning sheave provided above the second rope tie-up portion in the upper part of the up/down passage, and then led down and connected to the second rope tie-up portion. Thus, an 1:1 roping-type machine room-less elevator apparatus is realized, where dimensions of an up/down passage are kept minimum and an upper space in the up/down passage is reduced.
|
