PURPOSE: A low cost active smart antenna system and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the size and cost of the antenna system and achieve improved performance by directly arranging the antenna system for a high frequency band on a substrate. CONSTITUTION: A low cost active smart antenna system comprises a phase shifter including a circuit electrode and an inductor pattern formed of the same conductors on the inside and outside of a high resistance substrate(20), an electronic switch(22) directly connected on the electrode pattern, and a capacitor(23) directly connected on the electrode pattern; a low noise amplifier(27) or a transmitting/receiving module connected to the input electrode of the phase shifter formed on the high resistance substrate; and an antenna(26) connected to the low noise amplifier or the transmitting/receiving module. |
