The thrust centrifuge includes a rotatable sieving drum (6) to separate a mixture (2) into a solid cake (3) and a liquid phase (4), a mixture distributor (7) inside the sieving drum and equipped with a thrust base device (8), and a feed component (9) with an inlet funnel (10) which widens in the direction of the thrust base component. The inlet funnel is constructed as a prefiltering sieve for the prefractioning of the liquid phase from the mixture. The prefiltering sieve conically widens by a constant opening angle in the direction of the thrust base device.
