<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antibody production inducing agent capable of inducing the production of IgA and IgG in blood using a component of a natural material, especially of a food, inducing the production of IgA in the intestinal mucosa to improve the immunity function and suppressing the crisis of infectious diseases, and provide a food, drink or feed containing the antibody-production inducing agent. <P>SOLUTION: This invention provides an agent for inducing the IgG production in blood containing a tea catechin (excluding (+)-C, methyl derivative of (+)-C and palamitoyl derivative of (+)-C) as an active component, an agent for inducing the IgA production in the intestinal mucosa containing a tea catechin containing EC (epicatechin), EGC, ECg (epicatechin gallate) and EGCg (epigallocatechin gallate) as an active component and a food, drink and feed containing an active amount of the antibody production inducing agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
