<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply method of a printing machine which enables easy setting of parameters regarding the control of the amount of ink supply. <P>SOLUTION: The method has a first color density measuring process wherein the color density of printed matter after printing is measured with time, a predictive color density computation process wherein the predictive color density of the printed matter after a prescribed number X of sheets are printed is computed on the basis of the color density of the printed matter measured in the first color density measuring process, an ink supply correcting process wherein the amount of ink supply is corrected on the basis of the predictive color density of the printed matter computed in the predictive color density computation process and a target color density of the printed matter, a second color density measuring process wherein the color density of the printed matter at the prescribed number X of sheets after the amount of ink supply is corrected is measured, and a correcting process of the number of sheets wherein the prescribed number X of sheets is altered on the basis of the color density of the printed matter measured in the second color density measuring process and the target density of the printed matter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
