PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker provided with a lid which has a vertical wall formed on an outer lid and efficiently reinforced and has a stable hooking state of a lid hook, though it has a low cost. SOLUTION: In the rice cooker in which the lid hook 16 provided on the outer lid 10 is hooked to the hook receiving part 30 of a rice cooker body 1, the outer lid 10 is provided with the vertical wall 15 facing the hook receiving part 30 and a plurality of rib erection parts 17a-g continued to the inner side face of the vertical wall 15, a horizontal rib 18 connecting the rib erection parts 17a-g projects on the inner side face of the vertical wall 15, and the lid hook 16 is composed of a hook-like part formed on the vertical wall 15.
