PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster device which enables a stable traveling irrespective of the presence or absence of an obstacle or the state of a contact surface and in which vibration and noise are prevented from occurring. SOLUTION: This caster device comprises a pair of first rolling elements 4 installed in a body frame 1 and so linked to each other through an axle 2 that the distance between the center of the movement of the link part for linking and a contact surface is uniform and a second rolling element 9 so assembled in the first rolling element 4 as to be brought into contact with the contact surface on both sides of the orthogonal axis 8 orthogonal to an axle 2 and rolling around an orthogonal shaft 8 in the direction crossing the direction that the first rolling elements 4 are rolled.
