LASER WELDING ZIG FOR JOINNING THIN PLATE AND MICRO PARTS

A laser welding jig for joining thin plates is provided to manufacture a jig simply and inexpensively, enable the jig to be used for many purposes without being limited to the size of thin plates as welding objects, and reduce production costs by optimizing the consumption of an inert gas used during welding, and a method for welding the thin plates using the laser welding jig is provided. A laser welding jig(100) for joining thin plates comprises: an external case(10) which has a female screw thread formed on inner peripheral surfaces of both end portions thereof, and of which an inner part is hollow; a pressurizing jig tip(20) inserted into the external case to pressurize thin plates and formed to irradiate a laser beam onto one place; a pressurizing spring(60) inserted into the external case and formed such that the pressurizing jig tip applies a tight pressure to the pressurizing spring; tight pressure-adjusting upper and lower nuts(30,40) having male screw threads formed on outer peripheral surfaces thereof such that the upper and lower nuts are joined with both hollow end portions of the external case; a laser beam irradiating unit connected to one end portion of the pressurizing jig tip to emit a laser beam to the pressurizing jig tip; and an inert gas generator connected to one end portion of the external case to flow an inert gas for preventing oxidation of the thin plates into the pressurizing jig tip when welding the thin plates with the laser beam.
