<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input letter processing method capable of not only conveying speech to participants but also causing a variety of events. <P>SOLUTION: Three user characters are displayed in a chat room. When a user inputs a letter string, the inputted letter string is displayed on the screen of each user. When the letter string inputted by the user includes a letter string "ha ha ha", an event corresponding to the letter string "ha ha ha" is generated from a data table.
