<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an antireflection film having excellent antireflective property without carrying out a complicated step as a method for producing an antireflection film with excellent productivity, and to provide an image display device having excellent surface scratch resistance and further having antireflective property. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the antireflection film including two layers different in refractive index includes applying, drying and curing a coating composition containing two or more kinds of inorganic particles, wherein at least one kind of inorganic particle is surface-treated with a fluorine compound and the coating composition contains a metal chelate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
