<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer container, keeping a detecting gear at a proper position, while allowing variations in the number of discriminatable specifications. <P>SOLUTION: An engagement gear 80 can be displaced to a first state, where a transmission gear 67 and a tooth missing part 82b are opposite to each other, a second state where the transmission gear 67 and a gear tooth part 82a mesh with each other and a third state, where the transmission gear 67 and the tooth missing part 82b are again opposite to each other. When an energizing force is applied to a detecting part (extended part 92) of a rotor 90 from the outside, by having a first engagement surface (face 84a) of the engagement gear 80 pressed in one direction by one surface of an engaged part (projection 91b) of the rotor 90, the engageing gear is displaced from the first state to the second state. In the second state, rotor is rotated by receiving the driving force from the transmission gear 67, whereby a second engaging surface 85a is moved in one direction and presses against the other surface of the engaged part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
