PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly handle complicated condition setting, and to efficiently perform processing related with article modification.

SOLUTION: Article modification pattern management tables 100, 200, 300 and so on are provided with start condition information in which one or more article categories applied to an article modification pattern and refining conditions for refining the articles to be modified from among the articles corresponding to the article categories are described for every article modification pattern for determining a layout of one or more articles. An article category determination part 22 decides a management table storing the same article category as the article category of the received article among the management tables. A refining condition decision part 23 decides a management table including the refining conditions satisfied by the received articles among one or more decided management tables. An article modification pattern determination part 24 determines the article modification pattern applied to the modification processing based on the decision result of the refining conditions.
