A washing machine equipped with a heater is provided to prevent accumulation of scales on the heater by disposing a non-adhesive layer comprising SiO2, H2O, alcohol, and Flouroalkoxy Silane as main constituents on an outer surface of the heater. A heater(160) for a washing machine has a non-adhesive layer(165) disposed on an outer surface of the heater. The main constituents of the non-adhesive layer are Si02, H2O, alcohol, and Flouroalkoxy Silane. A magnesium oxide layer and a stainless metal layer are sequentially laminated between a heating wire and the non-adhesive layer to transfer the heat generated by the heating wire externally. A ceramic layer is disposed between the stainless metal alloy layer and the non-adhesive layer for preventing corrosion of the stainless metal alloy layer. |
