This uninterruptible power supply device is provided with: a converter (5) that converts alternating current power into direct current power; an inverter (10) that converts direct current power into alternating current power, and supplies the alternating current power to a load (24); and a control device (18) that controls the converter (5) and the inverter (10). The control device (18) executes a mode selected out of a sine wave output mode in which a sine wave alternating current voltage (VO) without waveform distortion is applied to the load (24), and a waveform distortion generated mode in which an alternating current voltage (VO) having waveform distortion within an allowable range for the load (24) is applied to the load (24).
