On the basis of a first position of each of tape feed apparatuses (50, 51) when a leading end of a carrier tape (Tc) is detected, and a first original point position of each of the tape feed apparatuses (50, 51) just before the leading end detection, a control apparatus (59) determines a tape reference position having a fixed positional relationship with the first original point position. Then, after the tape reference position is determined, intervals among cavities (Ct) are calculated on the basis of a detection frequency of a transmission light amount detected by making light pass through empty cavities (Ct). Furthermore, when phenomena wherein a detection light amount is equal to or lower than a threshold value (La) are continuous after the calculation of the intervals among the cavities (Ct), it is detected that components (e) are stored in the cavities (Ct). |
