PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate for a cooker capable of solving a problem on color of a base material comprising low expansion crystallization glass, while imparting anti-glare property, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A top plate 1 for a cooker includes a base material 2 comprising low expansion crystallization glass, and having a cooking surface 2a and a rear surface 2b opposite to the cooking surface 2a.
