A padded foot support with a ball of foot depression is a shoe insole designed to alleviate pressure from the second and third metatarsals of a foot by redistributing pressure to the first, fourth and fifth metatarsals. A forefoot depression traverses into the top surface of a pad body made of an elastically compressible material in the second and third metatarsal region, slightly forward and inside of center on the forefoot portion of the pad body.

a pad body; the pad body comprises an anterior edge, a posterior edge, a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a medial portion, a top surface, and a bottom surface; a lateral forefoot centerline; a longitudinal forefoot centerline; a forefoot depression; the pad body being comprised of elastically compressible material, wherein the elastically compressible material has pressure redistribution properties; the anterior edge and the posterior edge being positioned longitudinally opposite each other on the pad body; the first lateral edge and the second lateral edge being positioned laterally opposite each other on the pad body; the medial portion being bounded by the posterior edge, the first lateral edge, the anterior edge and the second lateral edge; the forefoot depression traversing into the top surface of the pad body; a center point of the forefoot depression being positioned between the lateral forefoot centerline and the first lateral edge and between the longitudinal forefoot centerline and the anterior edge, wherein the forefoot depression is positioned on the top surface to contact the second and third metatarsal heads of a foot when used in footwear;
