PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve producibility while stuffing the pitch between cavities.SOLUTION: In a process for assembling a joint terminal 5 in the first terminal housing section 16 of a housing 15, the tab terminal 6 of the joint terminal 5 advances along the tab approach path 26 formed in the housing 15. A cam 27 is formed in the tab approach path 26 around the axis thereof, and since a follower 8 formed in the way of the tab terminal 6 is guided by the cam 27, as the tab terminal 6 advances along the tab approach path 26, the tab terminal 6 is twisted around the axis. Consequently, the elastic contact piece 14 of female terminals 9A, 9B is connected while facing the plane surface direction of the tab terminal 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
