PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg force support device capable of reducing power consumption or a load on a user by automatically adjusting the rigidity of joints to perform a swing motion, to thereby automatically adjust a torque to be generated by the swing motion.SOLUTION: The leg force support device includes: a waist side mounting part 2 to be mounted on the waist side part of a user; a longitudinal first swing arm 13 arranged on the side of a thigh of the user and having a shaft hole close to the upper end; a thigh mounting part 19 attached to the first swing arm and put on the thigh of the user; a drive shaft member 6 being the drive shaft member to be put through the shaft hole of the first swing arm and supporting the first swing arm to be swingable in a front and back direction of the user with respect to the waist side mounting part; rigidity variable means for varying rigidity around the drive shaft member; and control means for controlling the rigidity around the drive shaft member by the rigidity variable means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
