The present invention relates to an electric power compensation device for a solar power generation system, variably compensating an amount of solar power generation by rapidly analyzing a failure state of a photovoltaic module. In the solar power generation system including a solar inverter generating electric power from a plurality of photovoltaic modules and supplying the electric power to a commercial electrical grid, the electric power compensation device comprises: a diode which is connected to the plurality of photovoltaic modules in series to block electric current in a reverse direction; a relay which has contact points (EC, NC) capable of selectively being connected to a contact point (CC) on the side of the diode; a DC/DC voltage control part which is connected to the contact points (EC, NC) to control output voltage; a string voltage measurement part which measures voltage of each string of the plurality of photovoltaic modules; a string current measurement part which measures current of each string of the plurality of photovoltaic modules; an inverter output information collection part which collects output information on the solar inverter; a central calculation processing part which produces voltage variation and current variation of each string of the plurality of photovoltaic modules, connects the contact point (EC) of the relay when reduction of output voltage is determined by comparing the voltage variation and the current variation with each reference value, and compensates the reduced output voltage by controlling the output voltage of the DC/DC voltage control part. |
