The present invention relates to an electronic device. The electronic device comprises: a main body part in which the electronic device including a control unit is embedded, and which has a bezel portion, in which a holding groove is formed, at an outer side thereof; and a band part in which an additional device exchanging an electrical signal with the electronic device and an electronic component providing information related to the additional device to the electronic device are embedded, and which has a coupling portion detachably coupled to the holding portion. The control unit switches an operation mode of the main body according to the information related to the additional device that the electronic component provides when the main body part and the band part are coupled to each other. Accordingly, when the band part including the additional device embedded therein is coupled to the main body part, the operation mode of the main body part is automatically switched to a mode corresponding to the additional device, thereby providing the convenience of use. |
