The present invention relates to a technology for displaying a medical image, and more particularly to a technology for providing an improved user interface for a simulation of angiography or stent implantation. A method for displaying a medical image according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: displaying 3D structure information about a tubular structure in a body of a patient, which is acquired from a first medical image including 3D anatomic information of the patient; displaying a virtual stent, representing a stent to be implanted into the tubular structure, on the 3D structure information; determining a reference line in the tubular structure based on the 3D structure information; calculating a location of the virtual stent based on the reference line in the tubular structure in response to input of a user regarding the virtual stent; and displaying the virtual stent on the 3D structure information based on the calculated location of the virtual stent.
