PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear reactor monitoring system capable of monitoring the condition of a nuclear reactor in an appropriate manner even when air bubbles come to be contained in a coolant inside a nuclear reactor.SOLUTION: A nuclear reactor monitoring system includes: at least one thermoacoustic sensor provided in a reactor vessel; a first sound detector for detecting sounds generated by the at least one thermoacoustic sensor; and a condition monitoring unit for monitoring the condition of the reactor vessel. The condition monitoring unit includes: a frequency calculation part for calculating a frequency of the sounds from the detection result of the first sound detector; a frequency correction part for correcting the frequency calculated by the frequency calculation part on the basis of an index indicating a void ratio of a coolant in the reactor vessel or in a wired pipe communicating with the reactor vessel; and a monitoring part for monitoring the condition of a nuclear reactor on the basis of the frequency corrected by the frequency correction part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
