PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage device for a vehicle which can quickly take a countermeasure of a malfunction when the malfunction resulting from a particular drive operation by a user occurs in a transmission.SOLUTION: A specific phenomenon is detected, and the number of times of the occurrence of the specific phenomena or an integrated value of a continuation time is stored in a backup RAM. The specific phenomenon occurs by a particular drive operation, and the accumulation of the specific phenomena causes a malfunction of a transmission. If the number of times of the occurrence of the specific phenomena or the integrated value of the continuation time is stored in the backup RAM, when a user claim caused by the malfunction occurs, a frequency of the execution of the particular drive operation, an environment condition or the like can be acquired from the integrated value by reading the integrated value from the backup RAM.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
