PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent falling of an inmost side fence due to impact at the time of sheet feeding tray setting and inertia of the sheet without detaching the sheet feeding tray from an apparatus body in an image formation apparatus desired to be miniaturized.SOLUTION: A sheet feeder comprises: a sheet feeding tray 5 which includes a tray body 51 and is configured to be freely withdrawn from an apparatus body 1; an inmost end edge restriction member 55; a falling restriction member 80 which restricts the displacement and falling of the inmost end edge restriction member; a fastening member 86 which fixes the falling restriction member to the tray body or releases fixation thereof; an operation part 62 which is arranged on the near side in the sheet feeding tray withdraw direction; and a transmission mechanism 95 which fixes the falling restriction member to the tray body by transmitting the motion of the operation part to the fastening member and releases the fixation thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
