PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drain water gathered in a meeting part, by providing a drain passage of the water gathered on an airtight material of the meeting part of inner-outer sashes.SOLUTION: A double-hung window comprises a window frame installed in a building opening part, an outer sash arranged in an upper area of the window frame when closing, and an inner sash supported so as to be capable of raising-lowering to the window frame and arranged in a lower area of the window frame when closing. A jamb of the window frame is provided with a hollow part for communicating with a hollow part of a lower frame, and a water guide part is provided under a stile of the outer sash for guiding water gathered on an airtight material of a meeting part of the outer sash and the inner sash to the hollow part provided in the jamb.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
