PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VR type resolver capable of accurately detecting a rotor rotation angle by a limited number of teeth and a number of salient parts of a resolver rotor.SOLUTION: A resolver stator 32 is configured so that, teeth pairs 33Q-33X formed of a pair of adjacent teeth adjacent at a center angle pitch G1 of 18°, are arranged at a center angle pitch G2 of 45°. A resolver rotor 31 comprises ten salient parts 31A arranged at a center angle pitch G3 of 36°. The all teeth 33A-33P have an excitation coil respectively, the first teeth pairs 33Q, 33S, 33U, 33W comprise a first output coil respectively, and the second teeth pairs 33R, 33T, 33V, 33X comprise a second output coil respectively. Winding directions of the excitation coils, first output coils, and second output coils are set so that, a signal output from each first output coil and a signal output from each second output coil are deviated for a 1/4 period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
