PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an interval of sheets even with a sensor having a long detectable interval without reducing the productivity as much as possible by using the sensors having mutually-different detectable intervals.SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance device comprises a conveyance part, a first detection part and a second detection part. The first interval that is the shortest among the intervals detectable by the first detection part is shorter than the second interval that is the shortest among the intervals detectable by the second detection part. The sheet conveyance device also comprises a control part which controls the conveyance part so as to convey the preceding sheet and the following sheet with the interval equal to or greater than the first interval at the first position and switches between the first control for controlling the conveyance part so as to convey the preceding sheet and the following sheet with the interval shorter than the second interval at the second position and the second control for controlling the conveyance part so as to convey the preceding sheet and the following sheet with the interval equal to or greater than the second interval.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
