Method for inhibiting deposition, on a metallic surface, products e.g. gum, obtained from the thermal degradation of hydrocarbons derived from a hydrocarbon fluid mixed with oxygen and/or sulfur, comprises forming at least a hydrogenated metallic oxide coating layer (a) on the metallic surface, in a distributed electron cyclotron resonance plasma reactor. Method for inhibiting deposition, on a metallic surface, of products e.g. gum, obtained from the thermal degradation of hydrocarbons derived from a hydrocarbon fluid mixed with oxygen and/or sulfur, comprises forming at least a hydrogenated metallic oxide coating layer of formula (M zO(x -y)H y) (a) on the metallic surface, in a distributed electron cyclotron resonance plasma reactor. M : metal valency of v, z or x; v, z : 2x; and y : 0-0.2. An independent claim is included for a metallic part, which is coated on a portion of surface by a hydrogenated metallic oxide coating layer.
|
