A collecting electrode of precipitator consists of precipitating elements, which have a form of metallic plates of zigzag cross section, moreover the edges of inclined sections turn into grooved elements or U-shaped connecting elements, and grooved elements are formed by parallel to gas flow sections and areas of transition to the inclined sections of profile; the middle part of the area of the passage between parallel to gas flow sections and inclined sections has a form of circular arc.
