PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press machine which suppresses shortage of a support force with respect to a reaction force of a press load even when the press load is large by receiving the reaction force of the press load by means of surface material having a higher elongation rigidity as compared to that of a tie rod.SOLUTION: Side frames 51 are surface materials which hold a crown 31 and a bed 41 from both side end surfaces, key grooves 61a to 61d, 62a to 62d are respectively formed along orthogonal directions with respect to a movement direction of a slide 11, opposite to each other on contacting surfaces between respective both side end surfaces of the crown 31 and the bed 41, and respective side frames 51, keys 63a to 63d are inserted over between the key grooves 61a to 61d, 62a to 62d which face each other and wedges are inserted along longitudinal directions of the key grooves 61a to 61d, 62a to 62d into a gap between the key groove 61a to 61d, 62a to 62d and the key 63a to 63d so as to fill the gap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
