<p>PURPOSE:To speedily detect an icon corresponding to a window from the window by previously giving information on the icon to the window and altering the display of the icon based on icon information. CONSTITUTION:When a pointing device instructs a specified area provided for the window, an icon information extraction part 11 fetches window information on the instructed window from a window information holding part 10 and extracts icon information from it. An icon display state alteration part 12 alters the display state of the corresponding icon based on extracted icon information and therefore it can identify the the icon corresponding to the instructed window. Thus, the icon corresponding to the window can speedily be detected by a simple operation.</p> |
