METHOD FOR TREATING SYNTHETIC FIBER MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To improve adhesion of a synthetic fiber material to a polyvinyl chloride based resin by treating the synthetic fiber material with an aqueous liquid of polyethyleneimine and polyurethane resin. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic fiber material such as polyester or polyamide is treated with an aqueous solution of polyethyleneimine and the treated material is dried and then treated with an aqueous liquid of polyurethane resin or treated with mixed aqueous liquid of polyethyleneimine and polyurethane resin to provide a synthetic fiber material having extremely strong adhesion with polyvinyl chloride based resin.
