COLOR FILTER AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide the color filter and liquid crystal display device which have the good adhesion between a black matrix and colored layers and are simplified in production process. CONSTITUTION:The color filters 7 have at least the black matrix 5 formed on a transparent substrate 1 and the colored layers 6R, 6G, 6B which are formed in the spacing part of this black matrix and constitute picture element parts. The black matrix is subjected to an irradiation treatment with UV rays and is set at <=30 deg. contact angle with water. The above-mentioned color filters 7 are adopted for the liquid crystal display device.
