<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a sample held by a sample holder at the end section of a rotary shaft by efficiently cooling the heat transmitted to the rotary shaft from a driving high-frequency induction motor. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 7 is supported at the levitation state by superconducting bearings 28, 29 on the inside of a housing 27. Superconductors 39, 47 constituting the superconducting bearings 28, 29 are cooled with a coolant in cooling jackets 44, 49. Since the temperature difference between the housing 27 cooled at a low temperature by the coolant and the rotary shaft 7 is large, the rotary shaft 7 can be efficiently cooled.</p> |
