<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the proof pressure of a package for transportation or storage, and to reduce packaging cost by forming valves with a material which melts at a temperature lower than the ignition temperature of a gas generator. CONSTITUTION:When an air bag device for a front passenger seat is manufactured in an air bag manufacturing factory and is transported to an assembly shop of automobiles or is stored on the way, the air bag device for a front passenger seat is put into a packaging case. When the packaging case encounters a fire, valves 42 melt at a temperature lower than the temperature at which a gas generator 22 produces gas. Similarly, even when an automobile encounters a fire after the air bag device for front passenger seat has been fitted to it, the valves 42 melt at a temperature lower than the temperature at which the gas generator 22 produces gas.</p> |
